HTML div tag is used to introduce styles to the text to make the text more appealing and readable by the users. Div elements include the title, class, ID, style and alignment. Whenever you are writing some text, it needs to have a heading or a title for the reader to know what they are reading. The title also allows the users to locate their subjects of interest with relative ease. Title or the heading can be introduced by specific tag <hn> which can use any on the six headings category.

Different parts of the site are aligned differently. For example, the title or the heading can be centre aligned while the rest of the text can be left, right or justify aligned. This allows the users to be able to distinguish between the different parts easing accessibility and use of the various parts of the site. The tag used here is <p align=”center”> which can be changed depending on the part. Other modifications that can be made using align are indenting a paragraph. The paragraph to be aligned is selected and the tag <p style=”margin-right: ’5%’; margin-left: ‘5 %’”> is introduced.

Style has to be introduced to the content element and includes the color, size and the font. It is important for the webmaster to style the text such that the readers are able to read through easily. Use colours that can be read by all people without a problem and avoid colours that cannot be read easily especially when they do not contrast well with the background. The colour of the background and that of the text and images should complement each other. The tag <color> is used to choose the specific color to be used.

The font of the text should be readable. You should not use calligraphic and related fonts for your site unless it is a special site. These fonts are not easy to read for some people and they may be frustrated. At the same time, the size of the text should be maintained standard, not too big or too small. The tag” <p style=”font: 16pt courier”> is used for the font and size of the text. Style can be used on different words, sentences, paragraphs and even several paragraphs. All you need to do is highlight the part you would like to style and then add the various styles like color, font, and size. This is especially important when you want to emphasize on a particular sentence, paragraph or part of the content.

Sometimes, the content you have written can only make sense when grouped in to distinct classes. The HTML div tag attribute class allows this and is associated with Cascading Style Sheets CSS in which different elements type are associated with their corresponding classes. The different element types that can be used with CSS include the family, weight, variant, height and style. The elements in the content can be classified into the different classes according to their varying characteristics. The class has ranges in which the different characters will fit into.

Email marketers cannot go about their business without making sure that their HTM email is stunning. Most buyers are keen on the outlook of the site and the contents used. To attract and maintain clients, it is important to follow the tips below for your HTML email.

One of the core factors to ensure is that your HTML email is well organized and appealing. Using images and other graphics help in making the site more appealing. Webmasters have always said that a single image or graphic is worth a thousand words. However, graphics are not just taken and posted on the site but require several considerations. There is need to ensure that the image complements the other contents of the site. For example, if the color of your site is bright, you should not use brightly colored graphics because the contrast of the site would be compromised and users may have a problem visualizing the site. Standard colored graphics should be used. Some graphics may present visual challenges to some of the users. Although graphic improve the appearance of the site, they should not be used excessively. Do not use too many graphics because clients may have problems loading pages making them frustrated.

As much as graphics and images improve the site, some email reading programs automatically disable images. This is done with the aim of increasing loading speeds. However, some clients get bored by reading through emails that do not visual appeal. Images should be loaded because the user has the capability to enable or disable the images depending on their preference. Email program providers can consider using the revolutionary new ways of reducing the loading time. This can be done by the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) which allows the use of small files reducing the bandwidth of a site.

As an email marketer, you should be aware that there is a lot of power in the message you send. Harnessing the power of the text is in fact the most important factors. This is ensured by ascertaining that the text has only the relevant information. If you are marketing a certain product, the email should have enough but precise information on the product. Writing a lot of information that is not beneficial to the users or clients could discourage them and may end up looking for alternatives. Try limiting the number of paragraphs you write because users may be bored while reading a lot of content of which some does not make sense or is not important.

By the time you are done with your HTML email, you could have used many layouts and elements on the email. It is important to test the layout before you allow the users to access it. You should open email test account to which you will send a sample of the email you will send to your clients. You can access the email on the test accounts and note where modifications and improvements are needed. By doing this, you ensure that your clients will not be frustrated but will always be honoured to get emails from you.

Search engine optimization is a very important factor in internet marketing probably because it influences directly or indirectly the success of the website. Perhaps one of the reasons why HTML is very popular as web design language is because it is SEO friendly.

Meta tags are the commands or directives used in HTML to enhance search engine optimization. They are not usually visible on the page displayed by a browser; instead, only the title rag contents are seen. They serve the important function of availing information about the contents of a web page to search engines and also to browsers. Their importance in SEO is based on the fact that the Meta tag description is used by search engines to determine the relevance of a page when a visitor types in a query related to your web content. The description of the Meta tag gives an overview of the site content and as such should be as precise as possible if traffic is to come onto the way of the website being described by the Meta tag.

Meta tags are usually located just after the head and before the start of the body. The use of Meta tags is really not compulsory for every other website nor does it mean that websites without Meta tags do not have traffic. However, Meta tags have some recognized benefits which you would not want to do without; after all, you lose nothing by using them, if anything you stand to gain. SEO experts recommend the use of approximately three Meta tags on your site.

There are some common Meta tags that are likely to be found in every other website that uses them. One of the most common Meta tags is the title tag. This is usually the first Meta tag used in any web page and also the first one to be displayed in a browser. The contents of the title which should be as brief and concise as possible should be placed between the title Meta tags. The number of characters to be included in this Meta tag varies from search engine to search engine but the average is between 40 and 80.

The description Meta tag is another common tag whose importance cannot be over emphasized. This Meta tag offers a brief description of what your site is involved in. the more concise it is, the better as visitors will be able to know what your site is all about at a glance. Equally important is the keywords Meta tag which is specifically for search engines and directories. It is the Meta tag that determines the ranking of your site in search engines and as such should be very efficient. The keywords that you choose should have enough traffic and be easily conversable.

Other Meta tags that feature in a site are for example the Index Meta tag that informs the search engine on whether or not to index a site and author and language Meta tags that give information on the site author as well as site language respectively.

That HTML is one of the simplest languages used in web design is already an overstated fact especially to many web designers and website owners. Perhaps it is due to the simplicity of HTML that it has found a permanent place in the industry of web design and in the tools of many webmasters especially those in the online world for business. The use of HTML is especially popular in ecommerce sites due to the fact that web users and especially online shoppers are attracted by simplicity. HTML has been used in any type of websites with amazing results but it is not just in the websites that it works wonders. HTML can be used with amazing success in eBay listings. Not only does it add elegance to your eBay listings but it will also bring in new traffic and you get to watch as your revenues grow by the day.

The use of HTML in eBay listings is very easy just as long as you have all the required tools. The tools are not at all hard to get and they can be accessed from the ‘Advanced Seller’ options on eBay where they are available at a fee. If you are operating on a budget and would want to keep off the buying option, you can have it your way by programming your own tools depending on your specific needs.

HTML on its own is a self explanatory language which might be just what you need to spice up your eBay listings. There are several things you need to know when you are using HTML on your eBay listings; things which are basic to the usage of HTML in any other application or place. If you are using paragraphs, do not forget to include the <p>, </p> tags at the beginning and end of your paragraph respectively. If you intend to start a new line without skipping any space, use the tag <br> and to draw a horizontal line, you use the tag <hr>. If you need to add text formatting effects such as bold, italics and underline, you use the tags <b> text </b>, <i> text </i> and <u> text </u> respectively.

The font size can also be customized by using the code < font size = a> text </font>. This might be important especially when you want to create attention grabbing headlines for the products that you are advertising and selling. HTML offers about five different font sizes that you can choose from, the small one being number 1 and the largest 5. The code < center > text </center> is used to center your text so that it looks symmetrical.

It is also possible to add links to your eBay listings in order to connect your listings to your website or any other site that the visitor might find resourceful for what they are looking for. This can be done using the link <ahref=address> text </a>. HTML codes can also be used to add color to your eBay listing in order to make them visually appealing to visitors.

Every web designer knows only too well the importance of organizing web content in a presentable manner. Presentability is key in enabling visitors find information on your site with ease. As a matter of fact, good content organization is one of the features of a website that make a visitor want to stay on your site in addition to maintaining the traffic that you already have.

The use of tables to organize information on a site is not a new concept to the web design world. It is especially important in sites that have a lot of information. Tables in web design are commonly used as grid or matrix and they work great in a site that has pictures as they help keep the text in line with the pictures. In instances where you have pictures of varying sizes, tables are a good way to make the page look organized. The use of tables within tables is also a common phenomenon in web design in order to ensure that all the content is lined up and separated neatly.

HTML tables sometimes look complex but in reality, they are just made up of simple components. Insertion of a HTML table begins with the use of the table tag. Tables are made up of rows and columns so you use tags to start a new cell, to end a cell, to start a new row, to end a row and to end the table. The browser makes the table in proportion to the content in that the table is as small as possible but big enough to fit the content so that as little as possible space is wasted. In case you want to enlarge your table, you can increase the width by hard coding the width you want in pixels or percentages. However, even as you adjust the width of the table, make sure it is optimized for all screen resolutions lest it appears distorted in some screen resolutions. One way you can do this is by coding the width of a cell as a percentage of the whole table or using fixed pixel width for the table.

Alignment of text and other content in tables can be configured according to designer’s preferences. Usually, if the contents in the cell of your table have varying sizes, text in the smaller cells is aligned at the centre. However, you might want to fix the vertical alignment especially if you have different type of content for example a text description in one cell and an image in the next. If this does not come out the way you want, you can play around with the alignment until you get something that looks good.

When it comes to table borders, most browsers fix by default, a 1 pixel wide border all around the cell. You can customize this function to thicken the border or create a table without borders just by coding for the relevant function. You can also customize the color of the table; something that is best done using hexadecimal color codes. In summary, the only limit to customizing your table to look nice is your imagination.
